That's _Adventures in Odyssey_, the Focus on the Family radio show. I had ENDLESS cassette tapes of it growing up — which meant constantly climbing down from the top bunk to flip the tape over so my sister and I could keep listening. Then, by grade 2, we got our own CD player, which meant we could listen to four episodes at once before needing to change discs. So BIG MOVES!

My dad read all of _The Chronicles of Narnia_ books to my sisters and me, and then my parents bought us these immersive audio drama CDs of the stories. I'd sit in my room listening to Aslan, Lucy Pevensie, and the rest of the Narnian crew battle evil…while simultaneously rearranging my bedroom furniture for the third time that month.

That's the singer/songwriter Michael W. Smith. My mom listened to so much of his discography that I could probably still sing most of his songs from memory today. He even performed once at the megachurch I grew up attending, and I'm pretty sure I saw my mom blush.

I learned _today_ that the official name for the "Jesus fish" is actually the _Ichthys_. Had absolutely no idea. All I knew growing up was that we had a giant metal one on the back of our green van that carried us to and from church approximately five times a week. (Yup, I was _that_ church kid. We're talking worship practice, youth group, Sunday service, prayer group, bible study, small group, you name it.)

What's the name of the Jesus fish?

I have to admit, my family didn't have cable growing up, so I never actually watched _McGee and Me!_ But some of my friends did, and it definitely seems like a classic Christian-kid show. Basically, a modern kid keeps running into everyday problems, and then his animated friend, McGee, pops up to teach him Bible-based life lessons about dealing with school bullies, annoying siblings, and other extremely stressful third-grade problems.

That's Jump5! Their song "Spinnin' Around" was my childhood ANTHEM. I knew every single word and even choreographed an entire dance to it with my friends. We had to practice at my house because my parents allowed dancing…but my middle school bestie's parents absolutely _did not._

What is this band's name?

The footprints in the sand are supposed to be Jesus's. My parents had this EXACT poster framed in our cabin, and I used to sit on the couch reading it whenever I couldn't sleep. You can read it yourself, but the basic message was: when life became too hard to handle, Jesus would carry you through it.

That's _The Donut Man_ from the show of the same name. Again, because we didn't have cable, I never actually watched it myself. But from what I understand, it was basically an after-school special hosted by a guy in a sweater vest who sang songs about Jesus and taught kids Bible lessons through the power of baked goods. Correct me in the comments if I'm wrong.

The _Left Behind_ book series is basically about surviving that apocalyptic nightmare.

That's the _Christy Miller_ series, and yes, I read every single book. I had the biggest crush on Todd, which, looking back, is confusing because that man was kind of terrible. But it was basically the only romance series I was allowed to read at that age, so honestly, any mildly brooding Christian boy with frosted tips could've gotten me.

Finally... What's this book series called?

You maybe went to church on holidays with your grandparents, but you weren’t spending weekends watching _VeggieTales_ or memorizing Bible verses for Sunday school. You were outside playing with your friends instead of wondering whether the weird noise in your closet was…spiritual warfare.

You'd go to church here and there, but you weren't earning gold stars for perfect Sunday attendance. You still watched some of the classic Christian-kid shows and definitely knew what a WWJD bracelet meant…you just didn't feel personally called to accessorize with one.
