Jeff Bezos Made Some Bold Statements About Trump And Taxes, And These 22 Brutal Tweets About It Held NOTHING Back

Bold of a billionaire to talk about taxing the rich...

Scrolling through Twitter this morning, I was suddenly blinded by a bright light...

Two hands covering a bright light, causing a glow effect

What was that?! A bird? A plane? NOPE! Jeff Bezos's head.

The last I heard about Bezos was his controversial Met Gala sponsorship. So when I stumbled across his CNBC interview this morning, I definitely did a double-take.

Now, he said A LOT in this interview, but there were a couple of statements that really stood out.

When discussing his tax rate, Bezos claimed, "You could double the taxes I pay, and it's not gonna help that teacher in Queens. I promise you."

People are NOT happy about this. To give you an idea of just how unhappy they are, here are a few examples of the public's response.

This person thinks it's still worth a shot:

Tweet reads "I know, let's just give it a crack anyways"

    Some people clocked the irony:

Tweet reads "'money doesn't solve issues', says richest man in the world"
Tweet reads "Saying that in front of your personal rocket ship is onion headline type shit"

Others had a lot to say about this "teacher in Queens":

Tweet reads "So your solution to the teacher in Queens is keep your taxes low? Bold strategy from the guy whose net worth grew $75B last year"
Tweet reads "Nothing will help that teacher in Queens is a wild thing to say from a man whose couch cushions probably contain a public school budget"
Tweet reads "As if Bezos actually cared about that teacher in Queens"
Tweet reads "He can afford to say that. The teacher in Queens can't afford not to care"

Some had to call out his Billionaire Behavior™️:

Tweet compares billionaires' concern for workers when taxes are discussed to sharks advocating for fish welfare
Tweet reads "He could do what his ex does every other week if he chose, instead, he buys and sells yachts and tries to buy off the Met gala to try and gain clout he'll never own"

    ... Especially regarding taxes:

Tweet reads "Doubling nothing is still nothing. So technically he's correct"
Tweet reads "Just pay your taxes you dickhead looking asshole"

    But WAIT... It gets worse...

When asked what he thinks of Donald Trump's current presidency, Bezos stated, "I think he is a more mature, more disciplined version of himself than he was in his first term... Trump has lots of good ideas. He's been right about a lot of things. You have to give him credit where credit is due."

Well... "mature" is definitely an interesting way to put it.

At least there won't be a waitlist at the Pearly Gates:

Tweet reads "You look at shit like this and you just know there will be a lot of room in Heaven"

Some people just had to bring up Trump's derrière:

Tweet reads "One of the richest people on planet Earth, who has so much fuck you money coming out the wazoo, still stoops so low to kiss Trump's ass. For what? More money?"
Tweet reads "Now available on Amazon: Trump brand koolaid, in dozens of flavors, including the newest: Asslicker Apple, Liar Lemonade, Collusion Cherry, and Pedo Pineapple"

    ... And other body parts:

Tweet reads "Jeff’s sucking Trump’s cock all the way to the balls probably even a little taint in there"
Tweet reads "Listening to Bezos give Trump a virtual blowjob is hilarious and disgusting at the same time"

    ... And his "maturity" levels:

Tweet reads "These people aren’t smart. They got lucky and started confusing money with intelligence. 'Mature' maybe. His diapers probably are"
Tweet reads "So mature" with a screenshot from Trump's truth social video of him dropping poop out of a jet onto protestors

Others were blunt about Bezos's "sellout" nature:

Tweet reads "The Bezos are billionaire oligarchs completely out of touch and sellouts to facism. Fuck them and Amazon"
Tweet discusses Trump's influence over billionaires like Bezos, mentioning how Trump will target those who "don't kiss his ass"

    Start listing them, Mr. Amazon:

Tweet reads "Name the lot of things he’s been right on please? Or maybe 2?"

    Last but not least:

Tweet reads "Our society is so abjectly pathetic - grown men groveling at the feet of dear leader so he doesn’t illegally (for the most part) try to use the weight of the federal govt against them"
