Does anyone remember Tulsi Gabbard?
This week, she officially announced that she was resigning as Director of National Intelligence effective June 30, 2026, citing her husband's "extremely rare" cancer diagnosis.
In a Truth Social post, Trump praised Gabbard, saying that she had done "an incredible job," and "we will miss her."
For context, this is the fourth female Trump official to either resign or be removed in the last few months...
Yikes.
According to recent CNN reports, Gabbard had been "sidelined" from the Trump administration's foreign policy, as she was noticeably absent from photos of Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago war room during the Iran strikes.
So, things had clearly been shaky for a while, and it's no shock that people online had A LOT of thoughts about Gabbard's resignation. "Her husband sickness may be the official excuse, however she was pushed out," one person speculated.
"Which highly respectable reality television star will replace her?" another person questioned.
"Let me be the first to congratulate Joe Rogan on his new position," this person said.
"Fox News scrambling to figure out how to report this is Biden's fault."
And as this person wondered, "How many women do we have left now?"
